First Posted September 25, 2009

With budget cutbacks being the big trend of 2009, most organizations have increased their e-mail marketing efforts, since they can be cost effective. Before you press ‘send’ on your next e-marketing, you should check this list of subject line No-No’s.

The ‘Subject Line’ for your e-mail is your first impression and can get you opened, deleted or put in the spam filter. However, the From, To and Body of your email is also being scanned by spam filters. Check out this free tool that allows you to enter your actual e-mail and it will give you a Spam Rating – allowing you to alter your next e-mail marketing initiative to bypass Spam Filters. There are many free Spam tools available – just search for Free Spam Check Tools.
